CANADA VISA- My Takeaways!

Disclaimer: This post isnt informative as it should be. Im just sharing my experience at lakampake.

Bakit ka na naman ba mag aaply ng Canadian Visa? Ano na naman ang gusto mong patunayan? Sadyang inggitero’t inggitera ka lang ba talaga? Trip trip mo lang? O di naman kaya gusto mo lang makipag eye ball sa jowa mong nameet mo online? Whatever it is, panigurado may dahilan ka, at kung ano man ang dahilan mo wala akong pake!

Una, kailangan mong malaman na kung kailan walang kinuhang documents sa akin nung nag apply ako ng US Visa, sa Republic of Canada naman ay nuknukan ng dame! Jinabar talaga ako to comply all the requirements.

Anyways, the process of getting a Canadian Visa for me is a lot easier compare sa ibang bansa. Why oh Why? Thing is, all requirements should only be uploaded on their online portal. I’ve taken the time to comply all the docs they need in a week and once you are completed, you can submit it and even pay online using your credit card. So convenient and pa sweet isn’t it?

Pero besh, hindi nagtatapos ang kalbaryo dyan. Dahil nga marami ding hanash ang mga taga Canadian Embassy- marami silang hinahanap at nakakapikon in all levels. All documents you need to submit are provided on their website. I remember, there was this part that you need to scan all your travel stamps. Imagine that? Prepare for your bank certificate, coe (if employed) business registration and bank transaction (if self employed) and sample itinerary at kung ano ano pa jusko! Note that the sample itinerary is not mandatory, you can back it up with invitation from someone if you wanted to, but I only submitted a sample itinerary at pasok naman sa banga. Fast Forward to the result:

Ganito ang nangyari saken mga beshies- After a week of waiting. I got an email from the Canadian consul stating that I need to go personally to their Canadian site at Makati.

At first- medyo nakaka bobo ang email because it only states to appear and bring my passport. Obviously, I was thinking maybe this is for interview. So just like what I did when I’ve applied for US Visa, I wore my nakakamatay na outfit na naman. I remember, I wore a tuxedo. Dahil nga nasa mood akong pumorma and I’ve learned via google that they have a pay parking on their site, so why not mag maasim diba? I also wore this grey pants na medyo silk pa ata. Iba ang datingan ko dito, lakas maka groom sa kasal. This time I wore a white snickers at talaga namang sumapi saken si Bruno Mars at may bling bling pa akong pa sway sway all over my chest.

When I’ve arrived at their site- walang tao! Muntanga diba? I was like tama ba tong pinuntahan at pinag gagawa ko? I was a bit nervous that it could be that I just overlooked the appointment date. So I went inside and ask.

Me: “Hello po (super finess ang boses ko dito) I got an email from your office and I was advised to drop by here. So off I presented the print out email.

Miss: Can I have your passport sir and pay at counter keme. Kindly present the receipt here once done.

Me: Okay (Still a bit surprised because I thought I’m here for interview so off I paid- not even sure what did I pay for basta I paid)

When I got back to the counter. The lady told me to go back after 3 days. Syempre uminit ang ulo ko dahil nga postura ang soot kong outfit diba at pababalikin lang ako just like that? Hell no!

Me: Miss- Anyayare? When is my interview? (trying to be calm besh pero hindi ko macontain ang inis so nag reflect sa boses)

Miss: Sir, you just need to come back after 3 days and present the receipt I just gave you.

Me: OKAAAYYYYY (beast mode ako nito- isipin mong nasayang ang outfit ko diba?)

When I got home. I immediately search for the entire process of getting a Canadian Visa. I was just so not convinced on how it went earlier. This is just totally different from what I have experienced with US Visa. The search went unsuccessful as I could not find anything on google. Much worse is I have to wait after 3 days pa to unveil the questions in my mind.

3 days came wearing the same outfit. Oo! Inulit ko ulit- dahil hindi naman ako pinag pawisan at mahal mag pa dry cleaning ng tuxedo kaya wag kang ano! I went to the same office and this time I decided na magwala na talaga once the information I will be getting is not crystal clear. I was kinda prepared with my speech and my actions just in case such thing will happen. One more thing that intrigued me bigtime was I know Ive left my passport. I super remember that!

Me: Hi, here is my receipt. I’m here for interview (kalma lang ako besh)

Miss: Kindly wait sir. Will call you in a bit.

Me: OKAAAYYYY (sa isip isip ko isa pang re-schedule ma-aaward talaga kita)

Miss: Sir “Richmond Saguiafin” here’s your passport.

Me: A bit annoyed. I just opened my passport and then bom! Multiple Entry! Super sayan!! Haduken left and right! Kemene! Chenelen! Tumpak! Shuwari-wari-wap! Magic Sarap! Aji Ginisa! Lol

Ang mga tao sa Canadian Embassy masyadong pa surprise! Sarap konyatan. So alam nyo na ha? Wag na wag na kayo pumorma kapag naka receive kayo ng email from Canadian Embassy dahil sayang ang effort. You need to create an account sa site nila and in less than 3 days after you complete the docs, makakareceive ka na ng result. Pag wala pa rin, refresh lang ng refresh ng inbox! Mag refresh ka magdamag dahil minsan may sapi ang website nila. Pag wala pa rin refresh your mind na lang 😂

On a serious note, ipag pray over nyo ang consul na magrereview ng application nyo.

Hindi umubra ang kakapalan ng muka ko dito at confidence dahil wala namang naganap na interview. So ilaban nyo na rin ang Canada anong malay mo naman diba?

Laban lang tayo ng laban para sa goal nating mangolekta ng Visa. Kapalan nyo lang din ang muka nyo when you submit documents online. Isend nyo na ang pinaka daring nyong picture at baka yun pa ang maging mitsa ng multiple visa entry nyo (just like what I did) Ibida nyo na lahat ng kailangan nyong ibida and remember to always pray! Laban laaaangg!!!

Matagal na rin ako nabigyan ng Visa, Shinare ko lang ngayon. Wag tungaw.

Walang picture dito kaya wag na kayo pumorma sa pag send online. Tama lang ang ganitong visa para iwas disappointment sa itsura. Ilaban nyo na rin ang Canada dalian nyo na!

At Ottawa. Para sa kaalaman nyo ito ang Capital ng Kenede! lol Very ancient ang drama dito puros classic structures na talaga namang perfect for selfies. Tumodo na kayo sa pag picture sa part na to. Mag yawyaw na kayo dito or lumiyad liyad kayo sa mga ancient keme dyan. Bala kayo!

Ay besh. Kalmang kalma si mareng Niagara Falls at talagang nakisama sya sa selfie ko. Lumundag kayo dyan sa falls na yan at mag video kayo ewan ko lang talaga kung hindi pa kayo makuntento sa shot na gusto nyong i-achieve.

This is at Toronto keme! Papasok kami ng Ripleys Aquarium chenelen nila. Mapangahas ang mga makikita mo sa loob at talagang only in Kenede lang. Di nyo makikita sa iba. Peksman. Mamatay ka man.

This is at CN tower Chorono. (Toronto) para sa mga slang masyado ang Toronto nagiging Churono. Very pasosyal! 

This used to be the tallest tower in the world back then. Pero dahil may mga bansang ayaw patalo di ko alam pang ilan na to. Napaka ganda dito, kita mo ang buong view ng city. Kung gusto nyo ng mas magandang shot pa pwes mag rappel kayo pababa!

Toronto, Canada Skyline

Hindi ko talaga alam ano pinaglalaban ko sa shot na to. This is at Parliament, Ottawa Canada. Di ko sure if bahay ba yan ng prime minister or what basta yun na yun. Canada day ngayon so nag feeling Canadian din ako this time.

This is at Canada's Wonderland. Obvious ba? Maraming nakakamatay na rides dito at talagang naiwan ang kaluluwa ko lalo na sa behemoth. Iready nyo ang katawan nyo dito dahil ang mga rides dito hindi pangkaraniwan. 

May pa swimming din sila dito. Ang mga slides sa pool dito nakaka aliw. Very class! Basta hirap explain.This is a huge amusement park na wala ka na talagang hahanapin pang iba, kaya apply na sa Canada dream nyo daliii!

Dahil mahal ko rin ang Canada talagang national anthem nila ang back ground ko beh. Talagang nag ikot ikot ako dito sa Niagara Falls dahil first time ko itong masilayan at talaga namang nepeke gende!
